2013 – Seven on Tour Western Balkan

Seven Tour – Bosnia and Herzegovina from SevenWomen on Vimeo.

As a part of the regional tour on the Western Balkans SEVEN was performed in Bosnia & Herzegovina in three different cities, Sarajevo, Mostar, Banja Luka, on three different occasions:

  • 5/11 – Sarajevo
  • 6/11 – Mostar
  • 7/11 – Banja Luka

Project leader Latifa Imamović from the local project partner, Sarajevo Open Center, says:

“Everyone was surprised, the show delivered much more than they expected. Also, many visitors were moved to tears by the text and the performance of SEVEN. Everyone agrees that this was a great new way to point out the importance of supporting the women’s rights.”

To promote the event, the local partner organization, Sarajevo Open Center, produced a promo-video consisting of interviews with people on the street. They’re also in the process of creating a documentary clip of the film to use in upcoming events regarding women’s rights.

All the main TV stations, web portals, daily news and radio stations covered SEVEN. Over 15 different press representatives from TV stations, magazines, web portals, radio stations, daily paper etc. including all the main national media were present at the press conference. A TV station covered the reading in Sarajevo. Several photographers and web portal reporters were covering the Mostar performance. Two TV stations and several photographers were covering the Banja Luka event.
