Through the initiative of Anuradha Marwah and with support from the American Center in New Delhi, Seven will be part of the Indian project ACTing. The project covers four cities, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi and Jammu and aims to lift the issue of violence against women and support the activists fighting for the elimination of violence against women.
The first reading will take place in Chennai on the 21st November, with alumni participants from the American Centre and actors from the pandies’ theatre reading the play. The director of the readings is Sanjay Kumar from the pandies theatre, New Delhi. The theatre is in partnership with

- Dr. Padma Venkataraman “Mangai” and her theater group in Chennai
- Dr. Shilpa Phadke, Department of Media Studies, TISS, and pandies’ youth wing in Mumbai
